Falls Prevention & Balance Exercise Sessions
Our Falls prevention and Balance program is designed to help individuals of all ages and abilities to improve their stability, prevent falls and enhance overall quality of life. We understand that maintaining balance is essential to safely carry out daily activities and reduce the risk of accidents and injury.
With our individualised falls prevention and balance program we aim to empower our clients to be confident, independent and lead life to the fullest.
We always begin with a 1:1 Falls Prevention and Balance assessment where one of our experienced Physiotherapists completes a thorough assessment to identify your unique risk factors and areas of concern. We take into account your medical history, eyesight, balance, strength, flexibility, vestibular function and walking pattern to create a personalised program to cater to your needs and goals.
Based on the assessment findings, our team will design your customised exercise program to focus on your goals, improve strength, flexibility, and overall balance. These exercises are safe, effective and designed to gradually progress and challenge your stability and confidence. During the program we may also educate you on home modifications, walking aids, appropriate footwear, environmental factors and practical tips to reduce the risk of falls.
These exercise sessions run for 45 minutes and can be completed 1:1 or you may wish to join one of our group classes where you can exercise and socialise with like-minded individuals whilst achieving your personal goals.
